Carter carefully selected this suit for his Senior Project presentation.  He wanted to make sure he made a really good impression on the judges!

This is Jayda opening a nativity set that I bought for her.  I saw it a gift shop at work.  I bought it  before I even knew Jayda was coming to our family.  It was so cute I HAD TO GET IT.   I brought it home and showed Aubrey and told her I would save it for my first grandchild.   Aubrey kept a straight face the whole time i was telling her this.  She didn't let on that she was expecting.  Aubrey wanted to surprise us on Christmas Eve.  She keeps secrets a lot better than I can!

Thanksgiving this year was at my mom and dad's with the Lyndsey's Aubrey and Bryce went to Idaho.  We played Volleyball and Basketball at the church after eating dinner at my mom's.  Eric and Landon went to our church that morning and played with Dan Bell and Jordan and some Beynon Boy's.  It was a nice Thanksgiving weekend.  Pretty chill.  No Black Friday morning this year.  Maybe next year when Jason gets back.

Sue is my best friend from Boise.  We met when we both lived in Oklahoma.  She took care of my kids several times for me and our kids where good friends.  She has always been very special to our family.  She came out and took me to "A time out for women" in Salt Lake City.  It was an awesome weekend.  Carter was really happy to see her and even stayed up with us one night late talking!

Sue and I had so much fun shopping, talking, staying up late laughing and going to this
really uplifting conference for women!

Baby Einstein was introduced to us at Rachel's house.  It has been a life-saver!  She really loves it!  At the beginning there is this animated caterpiller that comes across the screen.  When she sees it her eyes get big and she lets out a giggle!  At first she wanted me to watch it with her.  Now.....thank heaven's, I can do other things.  Definately got to get some more of these or my face is going to look like this picture, except not so happy!
Angie brings Colby and Carsen to our house in their costumes every Halloween.  This year we got Jim too!   Usually it is just after her work party.  We love it!   That was the highlight of our Halloween.

Aubrey and Bryce visited us with Jayda. It was raining so we went down with them to their house to watch the Utes play in Landon's basement apartment.  Don't know how many trick or treaters we would have had, but I am sure there weren't many. The next day Sunday was the official calendar Halloween.  It was kind of a bummer of a Halloween.  I guess we had the most fun the Sunday before when we celebrated Landon's birthday by carving pumpkins.  Landon got out his hand saw ...........great fun!

This was taken for Jason who had amongt his birthday wish list a Gorilla!

Fall day at the zoo!  Ammon, mom, dad, Jayda and me (Heather is taking the shot)

Chasing chickens as Carter would have said when he was little.

This is a picture my sister sent to me of when we were at the zoo.  It was one of the last good days of the year and my dad and mom took us.  The day was a lot of fun.  Jayda loved seeing the animals and chasing a peacock around.  It's awesome having a little one again in the family.  I remember getting pretty burned out of the zoo after all the field-trips.  It has been a long time since I have been there and it was a lot of fun!  Jayda is wearing a little jacket that I got a little teased for buying.  The look on Aubrey's face when she saw it was........REALLY?  All she said was "It has poodles on it"  How could anyone have anything against poodles?  OK I guess my taste has grown a little old, but anything on Jayda is cute!  She loved it.  She held it like it was her very most favorite blanket when she saw it.  So we got it!

Carter did it!  He went to a school dance.  Aubrey helped him ask her with some balloons.  She answered by filling his closet with balloons. After he popped them all to find the answer she had me bring down the balloon that had the answer in it.  He had a blast at the dance.  So Success!  We are glad he gave the school dance thing a shot!

These were taken August 2010

O.K. when doing the 5K i won a photo shoot! We used it to have Carter's senior pictures taken. The photographer is GSK Design. He was the perfect guy to do Carter's shoot and we got some really good shots! Carter has started his Senior year. He has 3 classes. He also is doing an internship at the Bountiful Animal Hospital. He has been able to observe surgeries already! This could be something he will want to do in the future. He also is working at an organic on-line company called Bubble and Bee. It's like Burt's Bees. So he is busy, but his class load is light. He has been blessed to have this all come together. We prayed a lot that we could get him the right schedule and get him headed in the right direction toward something he would be interested in and be good at doing in the future. So I know he was blessed.

OK this summer is coming to a close. School starts in just over a week. Eric and I were going over all that we've done this summer. We have really done some simple but fun things to try and branch out a little.

I started the summer by being fired (Never done that before). I then trained and ran a 5K in Salt Lake City with Aubrey and Bryce. We went camping and tubed the river. We got smart and went back up to the same place and just tubed and had tinfoil dinners then went back home to sleep in our own beds!

Eric and I hiked the back side of Timpinogas with my sister Dorothy and her daughter Candice and son C.J. That was a huge undertaking. It took all day and was quite steep. Beautiful waterfalls and scenery and was very much worth the effort.

Eric and I biked along the Legacy Bike Trail for our anniversary. It is west of our city and goes for quite a ways both North and South. We also volunteered for the Summerfest in the Bountiful City Park. We sold t-shirts at the information booth. The Summerfest is where teens and such come from all over the world and perform and dance in their native costumes and they have different ethnic foods for sale. It goes for 3 or 4 days and is run by volunteers. We had a sweet elderly lady in our ward, who is the queen of heading up community affairs, get us to help.

Jake's wedding was this summer. He married Alysha at the Mt.Timp Temple.

We also just went to "Bountiful's got Talent" at the park. Anyway we are expanding our horizons and trying to enjoy our family and our life.

We miss Jason! He has been out 9 months though! We love his girlfriend. Eric says if they dont get married then we are going to have to adopt her. I agree!
Jayda had her one year old birthday in July. Our grandbaby makes our life so full of joy. The gift of a new little person is one of the greatest gifts that God has given us as human beings! We are so blessed!
